The Oklahoma Wildlife Control Limited Liability Company of Tulsa, Oklahoma … proudly renders services to Insurance Companies for the purpose of wildlife damage inspections. We perform this service when a property owner has filed a claim for repairs, and the insurance provider needs verification that the damage is valid and caused by a covered species.

Insurance coverages for wildlife damages, are provided based on the wording on how the policy is worded or written. No policy that we have encountered in more than 25 years, has covered, or will cover the actual removal procedure for taking the wildlife out of, or off of a property or structure. However, some of the damages can be recouped once the wildlife is removed.

The most common in these practices, is the coverage of damages caused by RACCOONS. The two reasons behind this, is that a few years back, U.S. Courts rules that raccoons, being the cousins of bears, could not be classed as “vermin”, which is a term found in most policies for which the insurance company will not cover. The second reason is the “health hazard” the raccoons pose through the transmission of contagions and diseases. But as each policy has it’s own “Insurance Commission Approved Wording” … you will need to check your policy carefully before filing a claim for raccoon damages.

If you are a Property Owner, Insurance Company, Home Owner, or any other entity … regardless of position or stature in the community or governmental body … and you encounter problems with wildlife … then contact us today for the most dedicated and professional solutions to your wildlife needs and concerns.
